Logan Paul's New Prime Drink Has Boxers and Influencers Going Crazy, But Is It Worth the Hype?

Logan Paul took the internet by storm when he announced the launch of his new sports drink, Prime Hydration. With Logan's huge influencer status, it's no surprise that Prime has gained traction quickly among his fans and fellow online personalities. However, health experts and athletes have questioned if the beverage lives up to the aggressive hype.

Prime is a coconut water-based drink infused with added vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, and other ingredients like magnesium and potassium. It's marketed as a premium hydration and performance booster, formulated to help you "dominate life."

Logan has gone all-in promoting Prime on social media and selling it for $29.99 per 12-pack on his website. He enlisted UFC superstar Jorge Masvidal to help hype the drink among MMA fans. Other influencers like Jake Paul and Tana Mongeau have jumped on the Prime bandwagon too.

With Logan's inescapable clout among Gen Z and Millennials, it's easy to see why Prime catches attention online. But nutrition experts aren't convinced it's worth the steep price tag. For athletes, the electrolyte content may not match scientific sports drink formulas designed to replenish what's lost in sweat. More testing on the actual benefits would be needed.

While Prime's slick packaging and branding spotlight Logan Paul's outsized persona, the product inside seems more style than substance. Superfans might love the coconut water flavor and influx of vitamins. But it remains to be seen whether Prime can disrupt the sports beverage market dominated by Gatorade and Powerade. For now, the jury is still out on if it warrants the hype.
