BOSTON, MA - Urgency surrounds the mysterious disappearance of 18-year-old Mimmi Huria, a black girl of Kenyan descent, who arrived at South Station Boston on Saturday, March 2nd. Mimmi, traveling from her boarding high school in Maine, was scheduled for a brief break in her hometown of Milton, just 9 miles south of Boston. Equipped with two pieces of luggage and a guitar case, she was last seen near Dewey Square in Boston around 12:15 PM.



Despite her parents' efforts, Mimmi vanished without a trace, prompting an urgent release from the Milton Police Department. Standing at 5 feet, 4 inches tall, she was last seen wearing a black coat, khaki pants with red underneath, and possibly a headscarf.

The Kenyan community in Boston is mobilizing, sharing the police announcement across social media and distributing flyers throughout Milton and Boston. Mimmi's parents, Tony Ngari and Annie Gatitu, both originally from Kenya, are anxiously awaiting any information regarding their daughter's whereabouts.

MISSING PERSON

Missing from South Station in Boston since 12:15 PM yesterday (March 2, 2024), is Milton resident Mimmi Huria. Mimmi attends a boarding high school in Maine and took a bus from school to South Station. She was meeting family at South Station as her school break was just starting. Mimmi is 18 years old, she is described as a black female with dark eyes, black medium length hair, 5’4” inches tall and a slim build. She was last seen wearing a black coat, khaki pants with red pants underneath and possibly wearing a head scarf. She was travelling with two pieces of luggage and a guitar case. It has been confirmed Mimmi Huria got off the bus at South Station and was last observed near Dewey Square. Anyone with information about Mimmi Huria’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Milton Police Department at 617-698-1212.
