Assassination has claimed the lives of numerous world leaders throughout history. Here is a list of some of the presidents who have been assassinated:
1. Abraham Lincoln (United States)

- Details: Lincoln was shot at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C., and died the following day.
2. James A. Garfield (United States)
- Assassinated: July 2, 1881
- Assassin: Charles J. Guiteau
- Details: Garfield was shot at a train station in Washington, D.C., and died on September 19, 1881, due to infection.
3. William McKinley (United States)
