In this story, a woman named Kya pretends to be someone she is not to impress her demanding mother, Marta. Kya introduces herself as wealthy and claims that she owns the house and that Israel is her husband. Marta arrives for a visit and immediately begins treating Kya's supposed maid, Karen, with disrespect and contempt, humiliating her and making unreasonable demands.
Karen, who is actually the homeowner, tolerates Marta's rude behavior for Kya's sake, even though Marta constantly insults her. Marta pressures Kya to have children with Israel, not realizing that the entire situation is a lie. Karen finally reaches her breaking point when Marta accuses her of stealing a necklace and having an affair with Israel.
Eventually, Kya confesses the truth: she is not married to Israel and is actually a maid who has been pretending to be someone else to win her mother’s approval. Israel and Karen, who own the house, stand by Kya, revealing that she is considered part of their family. Karen firmly asks Marta to leave the house, making it clear that Kya deserves better than the mistreatment she's endured from her own mother.
Kya, feeling relieved and grateful, realizes that true family is not about pretense but about the people who support and care for her. Despite everything, Karen jokingly reminds Kya that she hasn't forgotten about the kiss Kya shared with Israel as part of the ruse. The story ends on a note of acceptance and belonging.
