In this story, two sisters, Amelia and Carla, have a tense and strained relationship, full of envy and resentment. Amelia often feels overshadowed by Carla, believing that their mother always sides with Carla and that she gets more attention. One day, Amelia deliberately ruins a dress that Carla was planning to wear, sparking a heated argument. Despite their mother’s efforts to mediate, Amelia's jealousy intensifies.

The tension escalates when Amelia’s boyfriend, Aino, flirts with Carla while Amelia is unaware. When Carla rejects his advances, Aino manipulates the situation by lying to Amelia, claiming that Carla made a move on him. Amelia, blindly trusting Aino and already harboring resentment toward Carla, accuses her sister of betrayal. Overwhelmed by stress and the conflict, Carla collapses and needs medical attention.

As their mother leaves to get Carla's medication, Amelia takes this opportunity to give Carla a sugary dessert, knowing full well that Carla has a medical condition that prevents her from consuming sweets. Carla, unaware of the malicious intent, consumes the dessert, leading to a severe medical emergency.

Despite Carla’s pleas for help, Amelia dismisses her sister's suffering, convinced that Carla is faking it for attention. Tragically, Carla’s condition worsens, and by the time their mother returns, Carla is unresponsive. In the final moments, Amelia realizes too late the severity of her actions. Consumed by guilt, she reflects on how her jealousy and resentment led her to destroy her sister’s life and, in turn, ruin her own. She wishes for forgiveness, but the damage is irreversible, leaving her to live with the consequences of her actions forever.
