Maran confronts Isaias and another woman, accusing her of being an impostor and trying to take Isaias from her. The woman claims to be the real Maran, asserting that she was once in a relationship with Isaias and that the other woman is a fraud. Despite the accusations, Isaias listens to both sides and learns that the woman he thought was Maran is indeed an impostor. He decides to leave her, realizing that the real Maran is the one he has been in love with. The impostor, despite her protests, is escorted away.
