Once upon a time, one hot afternoon in the city of Ibadan, a woman named Kemi drove into the parking lot of a shopping mall with her 3-year-old daughter, Lola. To avoid being slowed down, Kemi decided to leave Lola in the car while she quickly shopped for some items. "Mummy will be back soon, okay?" she said to her daughter, locking the car doors before heading into the mall.
Inside, Kemi grabbed a shopping basket and quickly picked up her groceries. However, when she reached the payment desk, she was confronted with a long queue of customers. Despite her pleas to be allowed to pay ahead due to an emergency, everyone refused. “Please, I have an emergency,” Kemi said to a young man, but he replied, “We all have emergencies, yet we have to be on the queue. I advise you to do the same.” With no other option, Kemi reluctantly joined the line, which took about 25 minutes before it was finally her turn.
Back at the parking lot, a notorious car thief named Ayo was scoping out the parked cars, looking for an easy target. When he spotted a red car, he smiled, thinking it would be an easy steal. As he approached the car and began to use his tools to open it, he was shocked to see a little girl inside.
