Shay and Itunu's life took a dark turn after the birth of their twins. Shay, unable to accept one of the babies due to deformities, abandoned the infant in the bean, feeling ashamed and unwilling to be associated with the child. Itunu, weak and recovering from labor, was devastated when she learned of the loss and questioned her decision to have the babies at home.
