Mr. Stanton, a miserly office manager, is initially harsh and dismissive towards his employees. After a confrontational encounter with a homeless man who claims to be his future self, Mr. Stanton undergoes a dramatic change. He begins to recognize the flaws in his behavior and starts making amends by apologizing to his employees and offering financial reparations. He also signs off on overdue vacation requests and agrees to support employee projects and bonuses. His transformation is marked by a newfound understanding of compassion and the impact of his greed.
