The Surang Tila Temple, dating back to the 7th century AD, was recently uncovered after being buried by an 11th-century earthquake. Despite the devastation in the surrounding area, the temple remained largely intact, attributed to advanced Ayurvedic or Vedic construction techniques. These methods, rooted in ancient Indian design principles, helped preserve the structure. In March 2017, ancient astronaut theorist Giorgio Tsoukalos visited India to meet Dr. Arun Sharma, the archaeologist leading the excavation.
