"Kaldereta" is a gripping Tagalog horror animation centered around an unsettling secret behind a famous dish in a small town. The story follows Mang Kardo, a renowned cook whose special kaldereta recipe has made him the talk of the town. People from near and far come to his eatery, praising the rich, tender meat and perfect flavor. However, as the popularity of the dish grows, so do the whispers about its origins.

One evening, Lia, a young woman visiting her family, notices something strange. After hearing rumors that some locals have gone missing, she begins to suspect that Mang Kardo’s famous kaldereta may not be what it seems. Determined to uncover the truth, Lia sneaks into the kitchen late at night and discovers a horrifying secret—the meat used in the kaldereta comes from the missing people of the town.

As she digs deeper, Lia realizes that Mang Kardo has made a pact with a demonic force to maintain his success. In exchange for fame and wealth, he must regularly offer human sacrifices, which he turns into his prized dish. Now, Lia must find a way to expose Mang Kardo and end the terrifying cycle before she becomes the next ingredient in his cursed kaldereta.
