"Kuting" is a chilling Tagalog horror animation based on a true story about a seemingly innocent kitten that brings darkness and terror to a household. The story follows Mia, a young woman who finds a stray kitten near her home and decides to take it in. The kitten, which she names Kuting, is adorable and friendly, quickly becoming a part of the family. However, soon after Kuting's arrival, strange and unsettling events begin to occur.

Mia starts hearing scratching noises at night and feels as though something is watching her. Items in the house move on their own, and eerie shadows appear, but no one else in the family notices anything wrong. As the disturbances intensify, Mia begins to suspect that the kitten is not what it seems. When she consults an old family friend, a local albularyo, she learns that Kuting may be a vessel for a malevolent spirit or a dwende (elf), using the kitten as a way to enter their home.

Desperate to protect her family, Mia follows the albularyo’s advice and performs a cleansing ritual to drive the dark entity away. In a terrifying climax, the spirit reveals its true form, and Mia must summon all her courage to save her home from the sinister presence attached to the innocent-looking kitten.

"Kuting" combines the themes of innocence with underlying evil, exploring the dangers of unknowingly inviting dark forces into one’s life. The animation taps into Filipino folklore and the supernatural, creating an eerie atmosphere around what seems like a harmless pet.
