Eddie, a popular kid, enters a school fundraiser where the grand prize is a go-kart. Determined to win, Eddie teams up with his friends Oscar and Brett to cheat by combining their candy sales. They even resort to using fake stories and selling chocolates from an ice cream truck, but things go wrong when they freeze the candy and mess up sales. Meanwhile, Paula, another student, sells candies with the help of her dad, and Eddie gets desperate. He tries to steal money from Paula, but his cheating is exposed when his glove is found with the stolen money. In the end, Brett wins the go-kart after selling more candy fairly, proving that cheating never pays.
