This story follows a Spanish-speaking elderly woman, Mrs. Villanueva, struggling with mortgage payments after her husband's death. The bank's employees, particularly Monique, treat her disrespectfully, dismissing her because of her language barrier and assuming she can't pay. Monique plans to seize her home. Gabrielle, another bank employee, steps in and, upon reviewing the will (which was written in Spanish), discovers that Mrs. Villanueva’s late husband left her a substantial sum of money, enough to cover the missed payments. Gabrielle helps her resolve the situation, earning her gratitude while Monique faces consequences for her treatment of customers.
