In a village, a wise Buddha was approached by a curious young man who sought to understand the nature of wisdom. The young man asked, "What is wisdom?"
Buddha pointed to a simple, well-worn path through a field and said, “Look at this path. It is smooth and easy to walk because many have walked it before. Wisdom is like this path; it is the result of understanding and experience accumulated over time.”
The young man reflected on this and realized that wisdom comes not from seeking grand or complex answers, but from recognizing and learning from the simple, everyday truths of life.
Buddha's teaching emphasized that wisdom is found in the practical, lived experiences and insights gained from the journey of life.
