Kyle is frustrated about having a foreign exchange student, Thian, stay with his family, especially after his brother's recent departure. At school, Kyle is rude to Thian, mocking his food and accent. However, after being grounded by his mother for bullying, Kyle reluctantly agrees to be nicer. He tries Thian's Vietnamese food and surprisingly enjoys it. As they start to connect, Kyle invites Thian to hang out, realizing he’s a good friend. Eventually, Kyle’s brother returns, and the two boys bond over their new friendship, emphasizing the importance of understanding and acceptance.
