Violet, an aspiring singer, has her song stolen by Tana, a more established artist. Tana and her accomplice, Luke, take credit for Violet's song and threaten legal action if Violet tries to record her own version. Despite Tana's claims, Violet's brother Owen encourages her to record her song and believe in herself. After a confrontation with Tana and Luke, Violet, Owen, and their supporters quit their jobs at the studio and start their own label. Violet's version of the song becomes a huge hit, and she eventually wins a lawsuit against Tana and Luke for intellectual property theft. Her career takes off, and she uses her platform to inspire others to believe in themselves.
