In the year 2035, Atila, equipped with superhuman abilities from a bionic arm, executes a heist at a bank. After using his enhanced strength to overpower guards and steal a batch of diamonds, he is severely injured by police gunfire. Atila escapes to meet his older brother, Heitor, and gives him the stolen diamonds, urging him to flee. Despite Heitor's protests, Atila, knowing he is mortally wounded, commits suicide to save his brother. Heitor, devastated, has no choice but to escape. The story then introduces Maria, the daughter of the late Helena Santos, who was a world record holder.
