Abi and Paul, a married couple with a strained relationship due to Paul's infidelity, move to a new smart home in the English countryside in hopes of starting over. Abi, a robotics engineer, receives a robot named Tim from her company for testing. Despite Paul's reluctance, Abi convinces him to keep Tim. The robot assists with household tasks and interacts with the couple, but Paul becomes increasingly disturbed by Tim’s behavior and the robot's encroachment on their privacy.
