The movie starts with Nathan waking up in the middle of the road, discovering his car wrecked nearby but with no visible injuries on him. He meets Daniel, who was in a motorcycle accident involving Nathan's car and also has no scratches. Both men can't remember how they ended up outside their vehicles. Daniel suggests they might be dead and in the afterlife, but Nathan dismisses this idea. However, when Nathan looks inside his overturned car and sees his own dead body, they both realize they are indeed deceased. Daniel mentions that his wife had warned him about riding the motorcycle, adding to their sense of confusion and shock.
