The movie follows Francois and his teenage son, Emile, as they navigate a world plagued by sudden human mutations into violent creatures.

Initially, the film opens with a heated argument between Francois and Emile in a traffic jam, leading Emile to storm out of the car.

They witness a mutant creature, half-bird, half-man, escaping from an ambulance. The situation worsens when they visit Emile's mother, Lana, in the hospital, only to discover she has also mutated. The world is in chaos as many people transform into dangerous mutants, and authorities are struggling to contain them.
