A man named John, who appears to be homeless, visits a restaurant and is served by a kind waitress named Julia. She offers him a free meal, but her manager, Talia, disapproves and fires her on the spot for showing compassion. Talia also tells John to leave, insisting that the restaurant is not a charity.
