The story follows Miguel and his father, Julio, as they navigate the challenges of family, sacrifice, and the pursuit of dreams. Miguel gets accepted to Stanford, but he learns that his father has been struggling to make ends meet, working extra hours and taking risks to support him. When he returns home for Christmas, he finds out that Julio sold his beloved truck to cover expenses. Feeling a deep sense of gratitude for all his father's sacrifices, Miguel surprises Julio by giving him back the truck, having saved up money through extra shifts and budgeting.
