This story follows Bruce, who starts a new job, only to discover he's been tricked into a volunteer position instead of a paid one. Feeling cheated after signing a contract with misleading terms, Bruce is determined to get his $200 back, especially since he has a date coming up. 

He enlists the help of his friends, who suggest a clever but illegal plan to infiltrate the office of the man behind the scam, disguised as a janitor and a desk worker. The friends set out to gather evidence of the employer’s fraudulent activities and to retrieve Bruce’s money. 

As they navigate the office, they uncover a web of deceit, revealing that Bruce is not the only victim. The story culminates with Bruce confronting the scammer, leading to his downfall as Bruce and his friends call the police. The tale ends with a sense of justice served and the camaraderie of friends coming together to right a wrong.
