The opening scene features a mercenary: Jim Powell, who is imprisoned in Playa Negra Prison,  

Sub-Saharan Africa. One day, he is released from the prison as a corporation wants to hire him  

for a mission. He is to accompany a scientist named Dr. Lyla Healy to a former Soviet lab,  

which is now fortified by a militia. It turns out that a scientist, Dr. Irvine,  

has been carrying out a secret research there in the underground bunker of the fortress.
