The opening scene introduces Frank, an ex-CIA operative trying to lead a normal life with his girlfriend, Sarah. While grocery shopping, he encounters his former colleague and best friend, Marvin, who warns him that their enemies are still after them. Frank dismisses Marvin's concerns, assuring him they are safe. However, when Marvin drives away, his car explodes, casting doubt on Frank's beliefs.
