Damian Nowicki, an undercover police agent, arrives at a secret drug-manufacturing warehouse to meet his gangster boss, who reveals there’s a traitor in the gang. The boss exposes Damian's true identity, forcing him to fight his way out, defeating the gang, including the boss. As the boss dies, he reveals he’s had Damian's wife killed. Damian rushes home only to find her dead.

In the next scene, we meet Szymon Makowiecki, a high school history teacher, deeply concerned about the rising drug addiction plaguing his students.
