The movie opens with Frederico Olsen performing a blood ritual involving a picture of a woman. Soon after, Warren Lee arrives and brutally dismembers Frederico, leaving him seemingly dead on a recliner sofa. Later, three people discover the same sofa in a garage, accompanied by a note that reads "Francesca," referring to the woman in the photo. Meanwhile, Francesca is at her job as a dancer in a club when detectives Bob Gravy and Roseanne Grape arrive to investigate Frederico's murder. They interrogate Francesca and her friend Maxi, who reveals Frederico's disturbing obsession with Francesca, which led her to obtain a restraining order against him two years prior.
