Dr. Arian, an Indian archaeologist, arrives in Bamyan, Afghanistan, with his colleagues Bowal and Tomo. They are part of a team working to restore massive Buddha statues that were damaged by the Taliban five years ago. Despite the ongoing threat of the Taliban in the area, Dr. Arian is focused on uncovering historical treasures. During their excavation, they discover a treasure chest containing 7th-century Indian relics, including coins from the era of a ruler named Dah Sen K. As the team is awestruck by the discovery, a shady individual secretly makes a phone call, alerting the Taliban, who are now on their way to the site, setting up a potentially dangerous confrontation.
