Kathy Nolan is a young florist preparing to launch her own business, arriving in the morning to oversee the renovations of her flower shop. Unbeknownst to her, Robert Lewis, a man sitting in a nearby restaurant, is fixated on her every move, watching her closely without engaging with anyone around him. When Kathy exits the shop, she catches Robert's attention, and he eagerly anticipates her actions. After the contractors finish for the day, she enters the restaurant where she is a regular, showing her kind-hearted nature by checking in on a waiter whose wife is ill and offering help with his children. Despite her friendly demeanor, Robert continues to watch her from a distance, carefully leaving the restaurant before she does. He then waits in his car in the parking lot until she comes out, revealing his obsessive behavior.
