The story follows Estella, a girl born in 1960s London with half black and half white hair, who faces challenges fitting into society due to her unique appearance. Despite her creative talent and keen eye for fashion, she struggles to meet societal expectations. Her mother, Catherine, attempts to guide her towards a conventional path, urging her to control her rebellious side, which she calls Cruella.
