In a normal suburban town, Daniel Larusso, a teenager from New Jersey, moves to California with his mother, Lucille. Daniel struggles to fit in and gets bullied by local toughs, particularly Johnny Lawrence and his Cobra Kai gang. Despite his challenges, he makes friends with Freddy Fernandez and is introduced to a beach party, where he meets Ally Mills, the girl of his dreams.
