In the epic historical adventure film Apocalypto, the story begins with a hunting party of ancient Mayans tracking and killing a wild boar in the jungle. The group is led by Flint Sky, but his son, Jaguar Paw, distributes parts of the animal to the others with great respect. Blunted, an outsider in the group, is tricked by Jaguar Paw into eating the boar's testicles, which leads to a comical scene where Blunted vomits them up. As the party returns to their village, they encounter a wandering tribe that is starved and weakened. The wanderers ask for safe passage, explaining that their own village has been decimated.
