The movie opens with a tense scene featuring a cloaked man on a mission. He descends into a boiler room, where he discovers a "Planet Bomb" hidden under a cloth. He sets up a device from his suitcase to contain the explosion and begins to disarm the bomb. As he works, he senses someone nearby. With only seconds left, he turns around, but an assailant shoots at him and disappears. He quickly refocuses on the bomb, which now has only five seconds remaining. He disarms it and tries to contain it in the device, but he's a few seconds too late. The bomb explodes just as the lid is about to close, throwing him backward and severely burning his face.
