The movie begins with a monologue by Timmy, a self-proclaimed boy detective, recounting a high-stakes mission before a car with a polar bear crashes into a living room. He takes us back to his origins as a detective in Portland, where he founded his agency, believing it to be the greatest in the world. His partner is a 1500-pound polar bear named Total, who, after losing his Arctic home, wandered to Portland and bonded with Timmy over cereal.
