The story follows Deacon, a former secret agent, who arrives in Manila to donate a kidney to his dying niece. Upon checking into his hotel, he notices a suspicious man but continues with his day. The next day, after a night of drinking with a young woman named Anna, Deacon wakes up to find he has been drugged and has had his kidney stolen.
