The film begins with a boy named Zane being examined by a physician, estimated to be around 12-13 years old. Then, we see migrant workers, including an Ethiopian woman named Tigist Alio, being processed. Zane is later taken away by officers from his cell while Tigist is also removed from the prison. In court, Zane's parents are shocked to learn he has been sentenced to five years in prison for a crime he committed at the age of 12. Zane explains he is suing his parents for letting him be born. The story also delves into Zane's involvement in drug-related activities with his family, including his brother Ibrahim selling drugs in prison.
