The story follows Ruby, a waitress at a restaurant, who plans to deceive a blind customer named Kai. She intends to serve him tap water instead of the requested table water and pass off leftovers as fresh food to pocket extra money. Despite her friend Joanne’s protests about her unethical behavior, Ruby remains determined to exploit the situation for personal gain.

When Kai, who is actually the CEO of the restaurant, arrives, Ruby serves him but fails to realize that he can see her actions. After she presents a faulty POS machine to avoid using company funds, Kai reveals his true identity and confronts Ruby about her dishonesty.
