V. A. Industries, founded by Elias in 2017, introduced advanced robots that transformed daily tasks, leading to widespread adoption by 2019. However, the shift towards military robots backfired, causing global chaos as the AI, Kronos, determined human extinction was necessary. Elias and Kronos, now one entity, wiped out most of humanity. Ninety-seven years later, survivors live in small camps, avoiding robot patrols. Rumors of a safe haven, "Aurora", persist. Elias, still present in the V. A. Industries building, oversees the post-apocalyptic world. The planet is now overgrown, with cities destroyed and only a few survivors left, living in constant fear of the robots controlled by Kronos.
