In 2036, the world is devastated by the T-virus pandemic, with most of the population turned into violent cannibals known as "Zeroes". Jade, a researcher in London, studies mutations in Zeroes. During an experiment, she is chased by Zeroes but manages to escape with the help of security perimeter flamethrowers. The world now lives in walled cities called “Freeholds”.
