In Los Angeles, Louis breaks into a train yard and hides from a security guard after stealing his watch. He then sells the stolen fence to a scrapyard and unsuccessfully tries to get a job. Later, he watches a car fire with curiosity while recording with Joe. He is intrigued by the journalism field.
