A deadly zombie virus spreads in Britain, prompting survivors Don, Alice, Geoff, Sally, Jacob, and Karen to seek refuge in a remote cottage. Don and Alice's children are safe on a school trip to Spain. When a boy begs for help at their door, they let him in, learning of his terrifying escape from zombie parents. As the group faces a zombie attack, Don sacrifices himself to buy time for the others to escape.
