In Costa Rica, Doctor Morbius leads a team of scientists to capture bats in a cave using his bleeding hand as bait. 25 years ago in Greece, Morbius befriends a boy named Milo with the same rare blood disease. Morbius later moves to New York for school, promising to care for Milo.
