In 1983, "Orbita-4" with two cosmonauts orbits Earth. One sings and jokes with Kostya. Mission Control checks on them as they undock. A strange object hits the spaceship. Despite regaining control, a cosmonaut sees something moving outside. Later, in Soviet Kazakhstan, one cosmonaut is found dead, the other injured. The incident is investigated at a brain research institute in Moscow.
