In 2057, as the sun nears its end, a team of astronauts on Icarus 1 sets out to reignite it. When communication is lost, their fate remains unknown. Seven years later, a new crew on Icarus II, including Dr. Surl, prepares for the same mission. As they approach the sun, unexpected challenges arise, with Earth communication at risk in the Dead Zone.
