In a small 1980s town on Ravens Island, a boy named Bill, scared by eccentric mortician Montgomery Dark, dropped his camera while trying to take a photo at a funeral home. Meanwhile, grieving parents mourned their son Logan, and Montgomery hired girl named Sam as his assistant despite her lack of experience. Sam proved to be a quick learner, surprising Montgomery with her bravery in handling the job others couldn't.
