Narville Roth, head gardener at the luxurious estate of Greywood Gardens, is a meticulous man who is passionate about his work. Mrs. Havil, the estate owner, wants to talk to him about the upcoming charity reception. She has a grand niece, Maya, who recently lost her mother and is struggling with her mental health. Maya is expelled from school and is seeking an apprentice. Narville offers Maya gardening lessons and a minimal salary. Maya is initially hesitant but eventually learns the art of gardening. Despite his tattoos with Nazi symbolism, Narville is honored by the trust he has in Maya. The gardeners work together, and Maya gradually masters the art of gardening.
