In the film's opening, a meteor crashes on Earth releasing extraterrestrial parasites that feed on flies. A subsequent sequence shows a fly injecting a man with a microorganism, leading to reproduction. The story then follows US Marine Malak Khan who wakes up to news of an alien invasion causing chaos in the city. As insects enter his room, he fends them off with repellent spray, bearing tattoos of his sons' names.
