Roger reassures his wife Abigail, who is anxious about the launch. Flashing back 2.5 years, Roger and Abigail are grilling burgers when they receive a call from NASA about a briefing for an upcoming mission. Excited about the opportunity, Roger shares the news with Abigail, and they celebrate together. The next day, during the briefing, a general reveals that a strange radio signal has been detected by one of their stations and plays the audio for Roger.
