A stuck-up woman and a slovenly middle-aged pilot crash-land on an uninhabited island.  

They hate each other but have to work together to survive.

It all started with a romantic date arranged by another man six days ago.  

Ambitious Robin is the editor of a New York fashion magazine.  

In an effort to increase the romance in their lives, her boyfriend, Frank,  

gives her a surprise--a six-day, seven-night trip to a secluded tropical island.  

But due to bad weather, the plane they were supposed to take was laid up somewhere else.  

So they have to take the only private plane available.  

Looking at the leaking, worn-out plane and its vulgar-looking pilot, Robin is disgusted.  

Quinn sees her distrust and enthusiastically explains that it's one of the safest and  

most reliable airplanes in the world. To avoid delaying the wonderful trip,  

with her boyfriend's persuasion, she gives in
